Brad Whitham grew up on a farm in Fairfield, Iowa. Early in life, Brad was involved with the business on the farm, run by his Grandfather, Grandmother and other family members. Jobs on the farm included hog farming, hauling water with his Grandmother to fill others’ wells, as well as helping to run his Grandfather’s corn shelling business. As a juvenile, Brad worked summers detasseling corn in between hog farming and baling hay for the neighbors. Eventually, he began building/ flying remote control airplanes, building cars, and also had a job at Wal-Mart as a checker.
At 18, Brad moved from Iowa to Houston, Texas. There he began installing car audio stereos, car alarms, and began building professional car audio boxes for subwoofers. From there he began work on installing custom home theaters in exclusive, multi-million dollar homes. Brad then went back into installing car audio systems and then began building high end car audio systems. This would begin his work with Gulf States Toyota.
Gulf States Toyota is the distributor for Toyota to Texas, Oklahoma, Louisiana, Arkansas and Mississippi. Brad would spend 23 years, with Gulf States Toyota, pursuing quality and perfection in each job position he would have in the years he would spend in this business. He worked on quality management in developing products for the entire Toyota vehicle line,

Within Gulf States Toyota, Brad moved up to production engineering/ process management, training and quality control production management, dealer support and customer service relations.
During this time with Toyota, he also attended night school to learn basic Mill/Lathe operations and earned his certification. Brad also earned a Master Certificate Tech/ ASC certificates at his time with Toyota.
Brad now owns his Mill/ Lathe Machine, CNC Plasma cutting table, welding equipment, does his own paint and powder coating in his own shop. All these helped in the process of creating his new business venture with American Design Décor (ADD). Still, pursuing quality and perfection in each product that he makes.
